SuperPark opens its first park in the UK
Finnish indoor activity park concept SuperPark has opened its first park in the UK. Located at Braehead in Glasgow, Scotland, the park offers more than 30 activities designed to inspire movement, play and shared experiences.
“Screen time is often seen as the opposite of physical activity. At SuperPark, technology is used to make movement more interactive, engaging and rewarding. Parents and children move, play and experience success side by side,” says Jonathan Doherty, CEO of SuperPark UK.

SuperPark has been active towards families in Glasgow and worked closely with local schools, sports clubs, corporations and other community organisations. Even so, the interest during the opening weekend exceeded expectations.
“The response to SuperPark has been exceptionally warm and enthusiastic. The city, schools, sports clubs, businesses and the entire local community have been eagerly awaiting our opening. Our first weekend was sold out, and hundreds of birthday party and group bookings have already been made,” says Kirsi Kytö, who is responsible for the launch of SuperPark UK.
Growth continues in existing and new markets
SuperPark UK’s next park is already under construction in Birmingham and is scheduled to open around the turn of the year. At the same time, SuperPark’s existing international partners are expanding the network in their own markets. New parks are scheduled to open in Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong during 2026.

“It is extremely important to us that our existing partners want to open more parks in their markets. It demonstrates that the concept works, delivers results and can be scaled across different cultures and operating environments,” says Juha Tanskanen, founder of SuperPark and CEO of SP Capital Oy, the company that owns SuperPark.
SuperPark is also actively discussing new openings in the United States, China, India and Europe’s largest markets.
“The first park in a new market is crucial. It makes the concept visible and demonstrates its appeal to customers, property owners, investors and potential operators. Once there is local proof that the concept works, the development of additional locations also accelerates,” Tanskanen says.
SuperPark’s global network sales are expected to reach approximately €35 million in 2026. The target is €50 million in 2027 and €100 million in 2029.
